What are the first symptoms of pregnancy? How can a woman notice that she is pregnant? Some women know that it has worked right after conception, others only notice it when they miss their period: there are many symptoms of pregnancy, which - in some less, in others more pronounced - indicate this miracle, which happens in your body.
• Absence of menstruation is one of the safest symptoms of pregnancy. Namely, when an egg is fertilized, the level of hormones and the peeling of the uterine lining does not fall as usual. Caution: Menstruation may be absent for other reasons - for example due to stress, unstable hormone levels or due to some organic disease. On the other hand, there may be slight bleeding during menstruation, even if you are pregnant.

• Women often notice changes in their breasts first. The breasts become larger, taut, and the nipples more sensitive. The reason for this is the increased production of hormones, which stimulate the mammary glands to grow through the mother's pituitary gland in early pregnancy. But it should be borne in mind: the tension of the breasts can also be caused by menstruation approaching.
• Nausea is also one of the fairly clear signs of successful fertilization. But it manifests itself very differently. In some women it occurs in the morning, in others it occurs continuously or comes in waves throughout the day. Some only experience nausea, while some vomit more than ten times a day. Nausea is caused by the pregnancy hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin).
• Fatigue is one of the symptoms that many women experience during early pregnancy. So drowsiness can indicate pregnancy. But drowsiness can also have a number of other causes, so for example some women are simply more tired than usual a few days before they get their period.
• Mood swings: elated to the skies or infinitely sad - as during menstruation, hormones can also cause mood confusion in early pregnancy.
